Assisting conservation through research, raising awareness
and supporting sustainable tourism.
Leopards are the last of the big five roaming free outside game reserves and
national parks. It is here, where leopards are under threat.
INGWE aims to conserve and protect this precious resource. After all leopards are
at the top of the food chain and as such a key indicator of a healthy eco-system,
which in turn affects us all.
To do this we are gathering data on leopard density, behaviour and population
dynamics (primarily outside of formally protected areas), enabling reasoned policy
decisions to be made. Remarkably this data does not currently exist. We need to
fill this gap in understanding before its too late.
